why would it be a big news?
Indonesian DGAC has suspended at least 25 batavia's pilot's licenses until the end of year, due to flying more than regulated in CASR.
Surely they wont be able to do it again under AirAsia management, so they pick a place that will alow them to...:-)

Big News because now Batavia are going to be 75 pilots short,

And Air Asia bosses and pilots can only fly scare buses?

Sounds like alot of aircraft to be seating on the ground soon.

I wonder if Tony will be father xmas and starting giving out big bags of money for them to stay.

then it must've been a great news too for you found out already more than 100 ex Merpati pilots are now working with Lion Air, with only contract employment status instead of permanent..renewed every 5 years... hmmm...where's my PerMenNaker....B-)
If that means 75 bad reputable pilots, who loved to fly more than 110hr a month, dont care about RHM, stealling from company's cargo loads, are off the air, ...then it means a better Indonesian Aviation world...

welcome to south east Asia...guys. Anything goes.. crazy pilots that dont follow SOP etc... happens most place.. China, Korea, India..etc Load stealing.. try Africa, Vietnam, Philippines etc. it happens but we just dont hear about. We heard this now is because Indonesia is in the spot light, after India both countries mass hiring of western expats etc.. in a year or so, it will die down, and other country will takes it place..for complaints.

Batavia guys probably heard that TF is going to take away there crew meals, transportation to and from work and the horny night stops.

TF.. is looking for a quiet puppy partner 51% for Batavia, since he only has 49% control in indonesia...because he a one man show..single pilot CEO. I know he wants India.. he sees $$$ because knowing him, he sees all airlines in India are run by incompetence CEOs. he the saviour of India.. he can do it differently and better.

brasmelzuit.. I didnt imply that Lion is one of though places.. I didnt mention anything about lion, I mention about south east asia.. many companies many countries in South East Asia.

Btw "Anything goes.. crazy pilots that dont follow SOP etc... happens most place.. China, Korea, India..etc"

"Load stealing.. try Africa, Vietnam, Philippines etc. it happens but we just dont hear about"

I guess you the only one that cares.. God bless you sir... 99.9% of pilot in SOUTH EAST ASIA dont give a rats bottom about it. Like the common saying goes.. If you dont like, look away or leave. As long it safe, within the safety parameters..its a go.. You gotta know your limits.

where's the statistic come from? your dream?

every sane pilot would have cared of safety, will find a better place of work if they can... the rest are just folowing where the money goes, how much transfer fee they can grab. O ya..we're talking about Indonesia's aviation.
The only limit is the legal limit, dude...

Oops..sorry, you did not say anything about Lion.. by replying my post, u were comparing your workplace and the rest of SE countries..
