Scoot - what is 'scootitude'?
I don't think Scoot in Singapore are currently recruiting but one of the requirements for a job with them is 'scootitude'. I'm just curious exactly what this so-called scootitude is. Is it a willingness to fund half the cost (or full cost) of the type-rating if not rated on the 777? Maybe it also means they give a reduced salary during training but I'm unsure. For the cabin crew I think it also means being willing to share hotel rooms during layovers.
As they have already started operations, maybe someone can enlighten us as to what sort of mixture of experience levels they took on? Locals/Malaysians or a variety of nationalities? Type-rated or non-rated? How does the bond work? What has the rostering been like so far (obviously it hasn't been going for very long)? Will they be hiring again in the next 12 months? Is a large tub of Vaseline required in addition to scootitude?

Probably the same as SQ....if you complain when you get repeatedly screwed
over like a poofter chook you are told in no uncertain terms that you seem to
have an attitude problem lah. Heard it time and time again when I was with
'em yonks ago.
If I'm right then I think your Vaseline suggestion is a bloody good idea!
