Help please: Looking for approach plates for WAOS (Hasan Airport, Sampit, Indonesia)
G'day All,
Does anyone know if there are any approaches into Sampit/Hasan Airport (ICAO:WAOS) in Kalimantan, Indonesia?
I can not find any data in the World Wide Jepp Charts Manual but there are two aids there a VOR (SPT) and an NDB (SP) neither associated with an airway. I heard that some airport approaches in Indonesia are not published in Jappesen Manual. Any idea how I could get a copy of the approach plates? We are planning to make this a visual segment but any additional information would be appreciated.
Thanks all,
NF

There's no instrument approach procedure for Sampit even though there is a VOR/DME located at the aerodrome. Indoavis also do not have an instrument approach procedure for WAOS. The visual approach isn't all that difficult with pretty much flat terrain surrounding the aerodrome, but it does tend to get quite hazy due to smoke.
