Thumbs down Glorietta (India) – Citilink Code broken

This is for the benefit of all the First officers (with experience on A320 type)based in India looking at employment with Citilink:

1)Employment contract directly with Citilink, however all dealings for firming up the contract to be done via an India (New Delhi) based consultant called Glorietta.

2)24months contract with no guarantee of renewal and salary will be paid in Indonesian Rupiah.

3)Emoluments calculated in USD at current rates:

a)Base Salary: USD 2300 per month.

b)Flight Allowance: USD 31 per hour.

c)Joining Bonus (One Time): USD 7300, however if you divide this amount by 24 (the tenure of the contract) it comes to USD 305 per month.

d)End of Contract Bonus (One Time): USD 4300, however if you divide this amount by 24 (the tenure of the contract) it comes to USD 180 per month.

e)Only Verbal Guarantee on 80 to 100 flying hours per month.

f)Hence to sum it up if the Joining Bonus and the End of Contract Bonus is added to the Base Salary, the Base Salary will work out to be USD 3000, rest is all linked to flying hours the first officer will fly in a given month.

4)Apart from the agreement with Citilink, a separate agreement to be signed with Glorietta. 50% of the Joining Bonus to be paid back to Glorietta. Also, they will use your name for their business promotion activities till the time you are alive. In return what you get from Glorietta, the answer is nothing. (No DGCA coordination, no accommodation, no transport….all this is promised to being with). What you get from Glorietta in return, for signing an agreement with them is a sugar coated confectionary which will leave a sickening taste in your mouth.

Free Suggestion for First Officers: Do not waste your time!!

Good Bet for Indian CPL Holders with Zero A320 hours, however be very careful while dealing with the above mentioned consultant.

They're not taking anyone, unless you're rated and loaded with hours

1) Sending Cadets to Citilink is the main business of Glorietta
2) They have now recently diversified into recruitment of pilots (Captains & First Officer) however with the current state of affairs in Glorietta I have my doubts they will be able to taste success in this area.

According to the CP and HR, Citilink has no longer strings attached to glorietta or aircrew global

If the reported turbulence at Citilink is true then I pity all the cadets who have paid 30 lacs. I do understand the desperation, pain and angst felt by jobless Ab-Intio pilots in our country, however taking risk in unknown dens is akin to looking “at the end of the tunnel for a ray of light only to find out, that the ray of light is that of a running train which will crush you to death..!

Hope some intelligent cadet gathers enough courage to teach the aforementioned consultant a very good lesson..!

Glorietta Steals Money

For those of you who have been unfortunate enough to loose money through dealings with Glorietta and Mr Anand Misra in India, please send me a private message so that you can be included in the further legal action to be taken against Glorietta and its shareholders.
