I hear that GMG owners are offering a few thousand dollars to the pilots, when he owes them more than 20 thousand dollars, is this true? is he trying to buy you off for pennies on the dollar?

The rumor you hear is true. They are not honoring the contract which called for two months severance, plus any leave that you had on the books. They are only paying for what you worked in the month of December 2011.
In most cases that amounts to about 21 or 22 days. About 70% of the pilots have taken the offer, thinking that something was better than nothing. Others have turned it down.
