Depends where in the aircraft you are sat.... But I agree there is a notable difference between EK service to from India and EK service to from Europe.

PT6A.

I could agree with you on that point!

I find their 330 so very uncomfortable (the funky seats) and the 777 have the god awful 3-4-3 configuration and i would guess an additional row or 2 also compared to the others out there.

Need a shoe Horn every time i fly them out of pure necessity.

The staff on the Indian sectors are having to herd cats.... Not surprising that service slips slightly when the passengers are unable to comply with the most simple instruction.

You would be surprised the EK service aint anything worthy to be mentioned in flight nos apart from the EK XX or EK 1XX or EK2XX. Yes if AI and IX were considered a separate entity then .. EK carries more pax in and out of India then AI !!!

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation on Saturday served show cause notice to the 11 pilots whose licences have been moved for cancellation and asked them to reply within a week
The above quote has been taken from the below mentioned article .

Is it legal or possible for the DGCA to cancel a Pilots license for going on strike ?

Not a strike

For pretending to be sick,in order to blackmail the airline into allowing them to retain unfair exclusivity on the latest hardware.
Yes the DGCA should be able to whip out something from the Aircraft Rules akin to the riot act
