first officer vacancies in india 2012

hi guys,
just got some info regarding upcoming first officer vacancies in india.

a. JET AIRWAYS: due to the backlog of batches waiting for being online, seems there wont be new recruitment soon but if dgca applies the new FDTL( as airlines are asking extension for the same) then there is a hope.

b.KINGFISHER AIRLINES: no one knows what s gonna happen with this company , bt one thing that we can expect that with new FDI, company may bouce back and they will recruit pilots surely..

c. SPICEJET: with 7 q 400s and 2 737s to be inducted this year,
we will see recruitment throughout the year(( SPECIALLY BACKDOOR))

d. AIR INDIA: with the induction of 787s and after the decision of SC for the training of pilots , there may be some ads for vacancy there also.

e.GO AIR: they have to add just 2 320s this year and have already a bunch of guys from kingfisher, there wont be any recruitment soon.

f.INDIGO: everyone knows abt indigo as the only hope for freshers.

so the moral of the story is....

wait till Jet Airways comes(but considering backlog, i don't see 'em coming anytime before Q3)

and for those who can spend around $35,000, wait till Indigo resumes.....

right?

Young lads would be better off if they get a B.Tech./C.A. and settle for an office job or start a business. Definitely sounds better than to spend your parents hard earned money and/or take a bank loan only to find yourself joining as the six-thousand-and-one-th member of the 'Jobless Pilots Club'. Unless you have a lot of 'Jugaad' and 'Waasta', as pointed out by other members of this forum, don't even have hopes. Let alone 'high' hopes.

Up untill the whole kingfisher thing happened indigo was hiring pilots every month through the CAE exams. A lot of KF pilots have joined indigo and there is a massive backlog of type rated indigo cadets from previous batches waiting for their sim check in India. Doesnt look too good for freshers

The situation for CPL holders doesn't look very bright atleast for the next few months, but in the meanwhile aspirants must try to clear the ATPL papers this will at least improve their resume and when jobs do open it will be to their advantage
