Scoot: Anyone know if they are hiring, T&C
Hi Everyone!
Does anyone have any info on the above company, whether they are hiring, what the interview process is like, what are their T&C's... Seems very little info out there. Thanks!

Interesting, there was originally a thread with a discussion on it but I guess it disappeared into the ether.
They got all their crew for the first four planes that are coming in this year already. Another two planes for 2013, and another two more for 2014. You can expect another round of recruitment those years too.
No expat terms, only national terms. Means, no housing allowance or children education allowances.

In the top yellow bar there is a tiny little button marked Search. If you type in Scoot you will find all the threads you want - they have not disappeared into the ether - things rarely do!

Go into the advanced search and type 'Scoot'. You will find a lot of information available in the posts and their included links.
Scoot hired approx. 50 pilots for the first four aircraft and will add four aircraft a year through 2016 for a total of 16 by then. An it is correct that there is no expat package, even though most of the pilots are expats.
There are some really good articles that are sourced in the search I did about the carrier, especially Center for Aviation Website (search Scoot again). There are too many to provide separate links, but worth the time to find them.
