Instrument Time DGCA Recency
Hello Guys,
I am starting my Recency in USA and wanted to know how can i log 5 hours of Instrument time except the IR checks ... i will be flying the C172 and PA34..
1) Can it be logged on the cross countries( Day & Night) or they have to be VFR only
2) Can it be logged on the GFT Test Day and Night
it will be of tremendous help if you can help me sort this out.. and we all know how DGCA works so i dont want to take chances and want your experience
Thankyou very much

Yes their are various ways u can logg and complete ur 5hr recency time.
I have logger 0.3 each in skill test by day and night.
approx 1.7 in 120 flight by night
approx 2.0 in 250 flight by day
0.7 in IR check

re: aditya
hey aditya thankyou for the reply..
so there are no vfr cross countries for recency or they are just cross countries and can be flown ifr also.
so if i am doing the same requirements for c172 and seneca.. i can write the above for both..

Hey I dont know those cross countries are IFR or VFR neither its mention in DGCA. What I did was I flew VFR along with my instructor ( i am talking abt 120 chk by night and 250 chk by day) and put forgols and and logged thos instrument time..
