Does evry airlines require a "multi rating"
FOR GETTING A JOB IN ANY "INDIAN" AIRLINES..IS MULTI ENGINE A MUST..??
DOES EVRY AIRLINES REQUIRE A CPL HOLDER TO HAVE A MULTI RATING ON THE CPL..??

Jet Airways , Spicejet - No
IndiGo , GoAir - Yes
Air India - I believe you do since i am yet to see an advert without one
Kingfisher - Not Sure
There seems to be some sort of unofficial rule within the DGCA that to do an A320 type rating you must have atleast 25 hours multi ( 15 on airplane + max 10 on sim ) and multi IR endorsed on your license .
Hence the A320 operators requires you to have the same .
Preference is always given to those with Multi IR rating and hours

Are you serious? One would think that a every bit of experience would be welcomed... To do an initial multi rating in a 320???
Go hire the most busted arse, blown out, !!!!house Duchy, Semi, Snicker and go scare the crap out of yourself...
Then go jump in the 320 and really appreciate performance, it is not to be taken for granted!
