I've got a friend in Las Vegas doing his B737NG TR and he told that there is a spanish guy with 260h TT that has just been hired by Lion Air and they are paying for his TR. I've sent them my application 2 days ago, let's wait and see.

What does MSD stand for?

I dont have any personal experiences with them because just looking at their conditions anyone with some common sense would turn this down anytime but its very sad to hear that many idiots around 50 have already agreed for this crap....just look at the money you need to give them and also the salary you will be getting.

Ill never sign up for something else, infact I didnt even attend spice interview since they were asking for 20000 rupees around 500 dollars just for the exam

As a cadet hopeful going to a low cost carrier you have no rights. They can charge you whatever fee the want, cause at the end of the day there could be hundreds of cpls going for it and only a few places. If they didn't interview them all you'd have a stink, if they charge you an administrative fee (which is less than the processing fees for qantas applicants mind you, not even close to it) you act as though the end of the world.

You paid to fly wherever you learnt to do it, I'm fairly certain 20000 rupee isn't an unreasonably amount.

And for those "idiots" who are paying for it, bitch all you want but at the end of the day they are at least making a sacrifice to take a step forward - but for you I suggest you wait for an airline to headhunt you. If ur so concerned about these people, start a picketline, if ur just ****ty the industry isn't the same as what ur flying school said it is before they took ur money then have a teaspoon of cement.
