No they dont count TR hours in order to get ur RTR renewed, you first understand the logic behind the 30 hours rule, they want to see that you have flown 30 hours in last 3 years on VT ( in indian Territory only) Registered Aircraft, so that they know you have used the indian RT language in last 3 years and that makes you eligible to get it renewed without appearing for any of the exam.
Hope this makes sense to you and help clear your doubt

Where in the Annexure it is mentioned that you need to do 30 hours on VT registered aircraft?
Can you guide me to that ANNEXURE ?
If that was the case then no one from outside India would have got RTR-C/P.....
Sonsal
You need to have 30 hours of flying in last 36 months to be eligible for RTR license.
TR hours do not count....Suppy hours count.
Some pilots in 2010 showed TR as flight hours and got RTR-( P) License .....so you need to check with WPC RTR personel.

Logbook verifying by WPC
While submitting for RTR license ask the WPC RTR officer about the documents of logbook that you are providing them and if possible take logbook along with you incase renewal documents is done by hand and submit following documents of logbook:
1. First page of logbook where name and address is written.
2. First page of logbook entry.
3. Last page of logbook entry.
4. For 30 hours flying - Submit summary of the logbook which states that you have flown certain 30 hours in certain month falling under 36 months since renewal date along with logbook entry of that month or period.
Min time for RTR license is 65-75 days.

You can not log suppy hours in your log book. So how can you prove to the WPC that you have 30 hrs of flight time on suppy flights?
Do you know if any one has got their RTR renewed based on suppy hours?
Code:
Suppy hours count

i am not sure about the information in annexture, i am talking it as per the personal experience, 2 of my friends got the rejection letter from WPC stating that 30 hours outside of india ( not on VT Registered Aircraft) can not be counted so they will have to appear for the part-1 exam to renew it.
and as far as RTR(C) and RTR(P) goes, RTR(C) was issued only after clearing part-1 so it gets eliminated, and RTR(P) was issued because of several other practical reasons, which is not the case with today.

Yes one of my friend is in Jet ....he had his renewal by showing certain hours of his suppy for his 30 hours experience.
Other 2 were on ground training in GoAir ...both were rated on 320 and one of them showed 4 hours of LOFT as 30 hours excluding base check time. They got their RTR in march or april.
One has recently submitted his documents with me for renewal. He is flying for middle east charter company based in Dubai.

I have visited more than 4 times WPC office in New Delhi and each time i bugged that RTR official about Hours/Fee's/Document's/Logbook Verification letter and mindless other things.
Each time he said 30 hours in 36 months and if you have then NO PROBLEM....be it in India or any other place ( Commonwealth Countries & Philippines ) get RTR(P) and rest gets RTR(C).
RTR(C) after Part-1 for those who are not in above 2 brackets.
RTR(A) after Part-1&2 cleared.
Now i hope this will clear doubts.
