Good Question, but unfortunately the ones who made through this attempt are there in Kerala Naval Academy for their training purposes...and needless to say that the Laptops, Mobiles, or whatever...are not allowed when you are in naval academy...so none of them would be able to reply you.....BTW All the best.....

You're right, nothing of the sort was allowed at the academy!
After completing 5 months at the academy, you are made to give a bifurcation test. The test is based purely on general aviation topics which anyone who has a CPL should be able to attempt very easily. The better performers on the test are offered fixed wing and the rest rotary wing. But anyone who wants to opt for the rotary wing can do so (since its not given widespread preference)
You will then be sent for short technical courses followed by the flying training.
The academy stage is like a baptism by fire, but strong will and good physical abilities will take you through easily. After that, life's good! I myself opted for rotary wing and have started the flying training, flying almost everyday.
