Contact Details & computer number

Greetings to all my fellow aviators,

1)
I have been trying to get hold of Mr. Surinder Singh to join his navigation classes through the contact details that i found on one of the previous threads but in vain.
If any one has his most recent contact details please share it with me.

2)
I applied for my computer number last week for the second time as i messed up my first application. Normally how long does it take someone to get the computer number, and will DGCA mail me my computer number or should I keep checking their website.

3)
Can anyone help me with some notes and also suggest me some great books for navigation, air regulation and meteorology.

Thanks a lot everyone.

Re:

You could get in touch with him on his email ID [email protected]

And to be really frank with you, if you are joining his classes then dont bother referring to any books cause his notes are suffice. To put it in other words theres is No Bible for the DGCA exams!!

Hey,
I suggest calling surinder in the evenin closer to 7:30 ish thats wen he is usually positively free to answer.
And no he doesnt provide acommodation. If his classes are still in Ramphal chowk lik 2 months ago, you can find a LOT of hostels and PGs around there most of them are pilots like u n i trying to do DGCA exams. the one i stayed in was Indu PG and hence is the only name i know..but there are lots more around there just have a walk down the road from his classes u will find many.

you need to check the dgca website to obtain your computer number. Computer numbers are usually published about 2 weeks before the last date of application for exam

All the best your battle has only begun if ur just waiting for computer number..

why would you want to join Surinder?

the guy is a complete ass, they way he treats his students is absolutely disgraceful. Ask around... i know close friends who went to him and what they told me made me rage. I would personally insult him in front of the entire class if he treated me like that. He is a money minded, ill spoken, class A idiot...there are other much better teachers in Delhi.

Just an advice

@superdunkaroos : I have heard all that mate, infact he tore one of my close friend's book into pieces for not doing his homework. I just think he's good in terms of knowledge and teaching.

Even you're preparing for your DGCA exams right, are you taking any classes?

DGCA CPL Ground Classes, Aviation Training, DGCA Ground Subjects Coaching, CPL conversion, Tapash Kar, DGCA CPL classes, DGCA CPL exams, DGCA CPL coaching, CPL coaching, DGCA CPL ground classes, CPL ground training, DGCA exams, CPL coaching, CPL grou

Brilliant teacher, conducts small classes 10-15 students per batch. I passed only because of him. Classes are much better than surinder's, they are a lot of fun too.

@ aviator86

trust me dude...none of these "branded" tutors like surinder, buti, V.k sood are worth spending so much (almost a lakh) these days...i went to buti myself n some of my friends went to sood n surinder too. The aviation boom has made their pockets heavier than they could imagine and as a result they have stopped caring about their pass percentage or their students anymore I didnt clear the exam the first time just bcuz I didnt know the basics well...then i decided to just consult 1 of my frnds who had passed the exam n he was able to teach me everything within a span of 2 weeks I mean it was easy cuz he was on the same wavelength as me ...and i could ask him abt any of my doubt without having to think twice.

The reason why i am telling u this is bcuz the knowledge u gain during DGCA exams will help u throughout ur aviation career n not to mention for your airline exams as well. So choose wisely..in fact the friend who taught me took his classes from some young guy in delhi(also a pilot like us) who used to charge around 25000 at that time.I don remember his name but if u r interested then I will ask about him from my friend. Let me know All the best for ur exams.
