pilot training loan
hi guys im new.. and glad to found out this forum.. i just wanna ask if do you know any airline who will still provide pilot loan training program? im still on PPL with 82hrs flight time here in philippines and sadly my parents cant afford anymore to let me continue my dreams as a atp. so if you know one pls tell me and thnx for the help .. god bless!

what nationality are you?
i know a filipino friend flying there in cebu. he took a loan from BDO bank.
and you will find countless people from india indonesia malaysia nigeria etc in cebu. most of them have taken loans.
you may consult them and ask for advices regarding the loan requisites and procedures. tell me your nationality and i will see if i have a friend from your home country flying there in cebu.
by the way, just curious to know, which school are you flying in there in RPVM?

thnx for the fast reply.. im a filipino... im from cebu... and my flying school is cheynair aviation...ive tried emailing PALav but there's no reply yet.. ive heard that if you will pass and get trained by them and loan from them you will be prioritize for the job and getting hired

Sadly, PAL AV has recently undergone its selection process and you might have to wait for a couple of years before they start again.
Also, there is no loan program available for PAL AV anymore and the tuition will cost you around 3.3 M.
Unless you know someone high up in the banks, it would be hard to get a loan since normally they would ask you for an employment assurance after you graduate. Although, I think it is possible as long as you have something you can use as collateral in case of default. In this case, this would be considered as a special loan because of the amount you require.
You can try studying in the US since their schools over there normally offer loan schemes for flying although I am not entirely sure about this...

wow thats a lot of money 3.3M 
.. hopefully they will offer again and my parents has something to collateral .. just incase they will open that program again does my previous flight hrs will be counted coz if it will be counted then im pretty sure it is not necessary for me to loan a 3.3m maybe a half i think like 2M or 1.8M just to complete my hrs and IR.

Well, the 3.3M is the AB Initio program. Its the one that gets you in line for PALs second officers (if there are openings). However, there is a rigid selection process for that. They take only 36 applicants out of 500 or so.They train you from 0 hours to 200+.
I don't know if your past hours would count. I heard some of joining midway having taken flight school somewhere else but they were already accepted beforehand. (They were accepted by Pal Av. Took flight school somewhere else before their batch was called. Joined their batch once called: in other words, a waste of money)
Try calling PAL AV instead of emailing them. It takes them a long time to reply in email given the significant number they receive.

With 82hrs, you might as well wait until CEBU PACIFIC announces to which flying school they're going certify as PARTNER FTO.
Enrolling with a partner school would mean bigger chances of employment with CEB PAC after graduation.

The Philippines’ largest national flag carrier, Cebu Pacific (PSE:CEB) comes up with even more job opportunities for Filipinos by seeking partnerships with flight training institutions approved by Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP).
After the success of CEB’s grand recruitment event last February 11-12 at the Hotel Intercontinental Manila, the airline announced another innovative way to source high quality personnel for its growing workforce by creating a sustainable crew resource program.
Now, it opens the doors for partnerships with quality flight training organizations. According to CAAP, there are approximately 50 registered flight training institutions in Clark, Subic, Pasay, Bacolod, Zambales, Lapu-Lapu, and Manila, among others.
“We encourage the leading flight training organizations from all over the Philippines to develop competitive proposals and send them to Cebu Pacific so we can forge a partnership with them. This will help their students secure employment with Cebu Pacific after graduation,” said CEB VP for marketing and distribution Candice Iyog.
Interested flight training institutions should contact CEB’s Special Projects Office for a request for tender document through our email address: [email protected].
“As the country’s largest airline, CEB continues to find innovative ways to support its growing workforce. This will deepen our pool of technical experts in various airline functions and ensure that CEB strengthens its high-quality value proposition to its passengers.” Iyog said.
She added that this is a win-win situation for both the flight training organization and the airline. “CEB looks forward to welcoming even more qualified individuals into the CEB family, as we take delivery of more brand-new Airbus A320 aircraft,” she concluded.
The airline has already received four brand-new Airbus A320 from October 2010 to January 2011. By the end of 2011, CEB will be operating a fleet of 37 aircraft – with an average age of less than 2.5 years – one of the most modern aircraft fleets in the world. Between 2012 and 2014, Cebu Pacific will take an additional 16 Airbus A320 aircraft.
The first low-cost carrier in Asia, CEB currently operates over 260 flights daily to 16 international cities and 33 domestic destinations. It flew almost 10.5 million passengers in 2010, exceeding targets with a 19% increase over 2009. Its international passengers also grew by 38% in 2010.
