there is a confusion about what this 'blank' status implies. some comments suggest it means you are about to be called, where as some mention its a negative indicator. lets be optimistic we all get a fair chance.

No reply from SIA as yet . Status : BLANK for almost 3 weeks now ! Hope we all get positive replies from them soon !

I got a call letter via email from SIA today .
Interview Date : 21st May ,2011. Venue : Hyatt Regency , Mumbai

dear friends i was shortlisted for cadet pilot interview in 2007,2008 in 2007 actually i was unable to appear but in 2008 due to terrorist attack in mumbai interview got postponed finally canceled now again applied hopefully waiting for there mail again as we were assured that whenver singapore will come up with interview we would be given preference let see waiting for there call

congratulation on getting the invite guys!

just wanted to know a little info,

• are you two CPL holders?
• what graduation degree do you possess,
• are you having exceptionally good or avergae marks educationally or just got lucky to scrape through each qualification?

just needed to know for the record ,incase if I or some of us miss out on the invite. We could then understand the reasons for it based on your answers.

I am a graduate electronics engineer. I have been working with a Chinese MNC since the past 3 yrs . I have a distinction in 10th,12th and a first class in graduation. I supplemented my cv with aviation related credentials(extra curricular and hobby) . Have references from people in the industry. Guess all that worked out fine .

I never checked my status after i applied quite superstitious if you may say as i did the same the last time i applied and converted back in 2008
