Avro HS-748 Freighter
Are there any HS-748 freighters in service presently in India? Also is there a link to DGCA that shows the list of HS-748 aircraft still on their registry. I am curious as to what happened to all those Avro's that Indian Airlines used to operate.

there is one sitting in the junk yard at Kolkata , vecc ... all intacts looks like it hasnt flown for about 20 years though, covered in mold but there is air in the tires. I think it has bengal airways written on the side of it.
there are lots of them flying still with the airforce, havent seen any other dead ones or airworthy ones in my travels around india in the last 2 years
