Air Hk to open in Philippines

howdy folks.... was in HK 2 weeks ago and kinda heard a rumor that Air HK in cooperation with Cathay ( CX) will be opening up A320 cargo ops there in Clark.

Heard too that the guy that will be hiring Filipino pilots is a Pinoy flying the B737-800 being transfered to A320. He wouldn't confirm nor deny when i asked him but I heard it from one of the ground crews. You folks heard anythin' yet ? I believe they will get a total of 5 buses.... heck, I heard they will need 60 pilots at least. Some of them will be trained for FREE.

You guys heard this ?

Interesting ..... just one bit of information doesn't seem to fit in what you are mentioning ..... and that is, the A320 Cargo

To the best of my knowledge there are projects to convert the A320 into Cargo but, again, to the best of my knowledge, those are going to take some time until the aircraft is actually operational.

Disregard what I mention above if the rumour you are providing is not for the so near future.

Happy New Year!!!

Safe flights,
Zero
