HELLO

HI..GUYS I AM PRESENTLY DOING MY CPL FROM DEAN INTERNATIONAL FLORIDA.I ALSO DID MY CLASS 1 MEDICAL FROM AFCME DELHI.
NOW THERE ARE SOME PROBLEMS THAT I AM FACING AND I COMPLETELY DONT KNOW HOW TO GET THRU IT.
FIRSTLY,I HAVE'NT ATTEMPTED OR CLEARED MY DGCA PAPERS.NOW WHILE REACHING TO DEAN INTL. ALL THE STUDENTS SAY THAT IT IS BETTER TO GO TO INDIA AFTER YOUR PPL AND FINISH WITH THE DGCA PAPPERS TO SAVE RECENCY.BUT AGAIN THIS THING CUMS TO MY MIND ASKING FROM THE FORMER STUDENTS THAT ITS VRY DIFFICULT TO GET THE RT FROM INDIA EVEN IF YOU PASS UR MET,REG AND NAV PAPPERS WHEN YOU CUM BAK AFTER YOUR CPL.SO IN SHORT RECENCY IS CONFIRMED.!
HELP ME WITH THIS GUYS SHOULD I DO MY FULL COURSE ie;CPL AND THEN GO BAK TO INDIA OR SHOULD I GO AFTER MY PPL.
I THOUGHT OF GETTING MY RT FROM CANADA AS IT WAS VALID FOR 20 YEARS OR MAYBE COULD BE LIFELONG BUT CANADIAN EMBASSY IS STRICTLY NOT GIVING VISA TO PILOTS.DONT KNOW WHY.
COULD ANYONE TELL ME WHERE CAN I GET THE RT FROM EXCEPT INDIA WHICH IS VALID IN INDIA ITSELF.BCOZ I HAVE FULL CONFIDENCE I CAN CLEAR MY COMPOSITE PAPPERS.BUT RT WOULD MESS THINGS UP.

SECONDLY,I ALSO GIVE A BIG PREFERENCE TO CFI+CFII+MEI AFTER MY CPL BECAUSE THIS WOULD RATHER GAIN ME EXPERIENCE..WHICH WOULD HELP ME TO EASY MY JOB OPORTNTY.I WOULD COMPLETE 1500 HRS WITH ALL THE REQUIREMENTS PUT DOWN BY DGCA,GET AN ATP AND DEN GO BAK TO INDIA FOR THE CONVERSION OF MY LICENCE.NOW THS HAS TWO BENEFITS-
1)THERE'S NEED OF GIVING ONLY ONE PAPPER.
2)WOULD ENHANCE MY CHANCES OF JOB IN AIRLINES.

PLZ HELP ME OUT GUYS WHAT SHOULD BE THE RIGHT WAY FOR ME.SO AS IT BENEFITS ME.!
WANT TO EXCAPE THRU RECENCY,AND A I WOULD GIVE A BIG PREFERENCE TO INSTRUCTING.(CFI+CFII+MEI)
SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE HIGHLY APPRECIATED.

Plz avoid using CAPS !

If I were in your boots (I was there years ago ):

1. I wouldnt stop with PPL. I ll complete my CPL (SE,IR - if u want to save
currency for currency) and then come back to India, do those
CPLCG papers and finish COP RTR (A) (ie both part 1 and part 2). After I finish
all the metioned requirements, I ll go back to the states (Do the SE IR Currency
Requirements and get the ME add onn done, get the proper paper work and
come back to India submit the paper work at DGCA and get your CPL in an
month and then pray to god for a job

2. If you can get Canadian Visa (Try it, there is nothing wrong in trying) ,
Get your Canadian FRTOL and CPL and use it at the time of converting.

3. In my humble opinion, Getting an FAA CFI CFII MEI is an waste of time (Mind it, I have all of them) but no one is going to hire you as an flight instructor. Dont fall for flight schools which say they ll CONSIDER you for employment. Its Illegal and it wont work. There are hundreds of American national Flight Instructors looking for a job.

PS. Check the regulations : FAA Requires 1500 hours for ATP but India needs 1500 PIC plus the other requirements for ALTP. (Check the dgca website)

2)WOULD ENHANCE MY CHANCES OF JOB IN AIRLINES.
There are already many experienced pilots in India who are unemployed and many of them have type ratings. Bear that in your mind and dont tell yourself that i would get that and that and by then i would have this much hours and all. ( unless you are guaranteed a job)

And come back to India after you completed everything in the states then clear the papers and everything. In the past many people have done it, if they can then you also can.
