Fortunately, the accident involved the nose wheel of the aircraft, much lighter in weight than the tail, which carries the entire weight of baggage in the aircraft as well as passengers.
Yeah like one can make out the difference above 1000 kgs

If it was at the time of Push back wouldn't the tug operator be the one responsible????

Have noticed some pilots leaving the paking brakes OFF...and others putting them OFF without a positive clearance from the technician on the ground interphone....wonder if this was the accident waiting to happen because of this particular "bad habit".
