well i had given the B-200 tech in 2009 , most of the paper had questions from the limitations section , so know them by heart ..... in the systems section they asked a lot of questions from air-conditioning and pressurization systems ... some questions on human factors too ....

The easiest way around this..

(if you already have an indian CPL)

Apply to a flight school abroad who trains you on King Air C90.

Get their syllabus and training manifesto. Submit it at DGCA- Flight Inspection Directorate 1st floor on the same building you would have gone for your license which is on the 2nd floor. Dont forget to write an application letter with SUB: Request issue of NOC for KingAirC90A Type Rating.

Wait for a week if you dont get the NOC yet meet Capt.Kathwalia (one of the nicer people in DGCA) he heads the FID section and put your request across and it should be done.

Once you get your NOC go to where ever you are going and come back with all the training documents signed and stamped. Dont forget the CA40B (if your aircraft is less than 5700 kgs) else CA40A (copilot rating) with both DAY and NIGHT Checks completed. Also get your IR/PPC form filled in.

Come back to India and submit all the documents along with a DD for Rs10,000 in favor of PAO DGCA MCA NEW DELHI. Dont forget to submit your Original CPL , FRTOL, RTR, MEDICAL & LOGBOOK along with other training documents.

Wait for about 2 weeks.. Tadaaa.. You are now TYPE RATED

Thanks for the advice.

I have the NOC, its very detailed. Made sure I do flights in the way its prescribed in the NOC.

I am stuck at the document stage. I am trying to figure out how these supporting documents need to be. I can make sense out of it and prepare documents, but I have a feeling DGCA wants it in specific formats, sealed cover etc etc, none of my circle friends have done it. I want it to be proper, I dont have the luxury of making any mistakes.

Do you have a copy of transcripts that I can refer to. It would be really helpful.
Please let me know.

Thanks.
Aaditya

Hey all,

Need some help with the NOC and all help is appreciated.

What should the training consist of?

No of hours required- Actual Aircraft / Simulator hours.
Ground class duration, topics?

And most of all, do you know any good schools for a C90 TR?

I guess there is no flying club in india which provides TR on C90. IGRUA used to , and that Orient Flying Club , their C90 , hardly fly !!

And also i believe , B200 is a better option , because many Charter have B200, unless you already getting job on C90, then go for it !!

Is there an application form for aircraft endorsement ?

Or is it just a cover letter and CA 39 and CA 40B and all the other checks and documents mentioned in the NOC ?

Thanks.
