Housing Allowance/JetAirways/AI/Indigo/Spicejet etc
Can anyone confirm what is being offered for housing. I heard that some airlines were now just giving you the allowance and you had to find your own place? Are they signing the lease for you and paying the required deposits if this is the case?

Jet airways Housing
Jet Airways will have you stay at the Marriot Renaissance apartments for as long as you are based in BOM. The contract says that they will give you a housing alllowance and lend you the security deposit. You sign your own housing contract if you chose to move out of the company provided Marriot. Most pilots chose to stay at the Marriot as it is very comfortable and there is some social life with the other expats at the breakfast table and swimming pool. The choice is yours. Some pilots have been reassigned to TRV and have not been as happy as in BOM.
