To try to get back on topic; I can understand there are only a few. They are demanding you have flown several hundred hours within the last six months.

There are many FO's as well as Captains with more than sufficient hours on type who can't comply ( as some of the agencies told me). As for me, I have 3 times the hours required on type, did my recurrent A320 several months ago; I should say this makes me current on type... but haven't actually flown the Airbus for some time. So this is a no go, unfortunately.

Actually I am having the same problem with other contracts. I used to think, being current means having a valid type rating on your license..... At present you have more changes at employment fresh out of school with 500 hrs on type, 750 TT in stead of more experienced colleagues.
