JetStar WILL work you to the maximum. Singapore is a great place to live if you wish to be in Asia. In fact it is often referred to as "Asia for beginners". Singapore is very expensive. If I could land a decent paying flying job I would move back there tomorrow.

What I know as a non-flyer: Jetstar - is undergoing reorganisation/ consolidation (or whatever you call it .. ) With their parent company - QF.

Do some googling on latest news on 3K - and you may find a lot ..
