A Question on Foreign Flying
HI, i have FAA CPL ME IR ratings and i am a Indian Citizen.
I would like to know that if i Travel to UK for tourism on a visitors visa and then when there if i would rent a 'N' registered Single Engine Aircraft (which is available in UK) to fly within the UK.
Q1. Will i be legal to fly it in UK airspace flying a 'N' registered SE A/c with a FAA licence?
Q2. Will i be able to Log those Hours on my International Logbook? and will that logging of hours be legal?
(i do not have a JAA CPL or Medical)
Thanks

Yes you will be legal. You'll just be renting a plane the same way you'd rent a car. You'll be renting a plane to do a little sightseeing of the English countryside! This way it's legitimate 'tourism'!
