Signal Reception Test

I have heard that the signal reception test need not be done in India for candidates wanting to convert the CPL licence.

If this is the case, can someone please let me know where I can obtain the form for Signal reception test which can be signed off by the CFI of the flying school overseas.

Thanks a lot.

hi..check your pms'.....type the report with your details filled in, print it on an A4 paper and get it stamped and signed, along with other checks, tests and reports according to the dgca conversion flow chart.

Forwarded it to your pm's.

Equinox, unless the DGCA has come up with a particular format in the dgca forms section, it is just a report you type out yourself.

Citation, the report from your school will do just fine, as long as it mentions the CFI's name and license no./the authorized person who conducted the test, and that you were found proficient in the test/passed the test with the capability to read, write, speak and understand eight words per minute

SOPS, it's a morse code test

Signal Recpetion test form

Hi Guys,

I had submitted My papers to DGCA for conversion, along with Signal Test Report issued by my School in the US
I have recieved an objection letter from DGCA stating "Please submit Signal Reception test report in original"

Would somebody please throw some light and advise about the correct format??

Thanks in Advance.
