MDLR

I believe that the RJ has engines with a little more thrust than than the 146 so rate of climb will be better. Has the MDLR aircraft returned to Delhi or has it gone for good. Their website says they have three. Where are they at this moment or have their creditors acted to recover them after several years.

Also note Jagson got approval for flying using AVRO and which should start operating soon.

MDLR's Future

It would be interesting to know what our DGCA issues are. Would it be financial or lack of qualified pilots? I presume any potential buyer would be taking on a lot of debt. Perhaps MDLR will clear all debts before selling.

MDLR Airlines- Gone bust

- Grounded since Oct 2009.

- Salaries not paid to pilots since Aug 2009 and other staff since Dec 2009.

- All expat captains have returned back home, therefore they don't have any captains.

- Out of their three aircrafts, one is a christmas tree, second one re-possessed by BAE in Romania (had gone for C-Check) due to non payment and the third one not airworthy.

- All airline staff has stopped attending office, due to salary issues.

- DGCA has decided not to clear it, as they now cannot comply with any of the guidelines laid down by them.

- The Chairman does not have money to run the airline, including his other businesses, which have also shut down.

The End

MDLR Rising from the ashes

Hear that MDLR are recruiting pilots for their restart. Has the company paid all the outstanding debts to companies and staff?

Is the DGCA going to let them start again with debts and the same manager people who were with them when they stoped flying 2009?

Guys , I would be very wary of outfits like these, don't waste your or most likely your parents hard earned money doing a rating that would be useless if the airline would not be able to re-start their operations.

Also, Alpha I would "quikkily" enroll myself in a short course in english , a good working knowledge of the language is not only required by ICAO but would help tremendously in training .It would aid your understanding of the aircraft , your instructors plus your partner would be able to comprehend your instructions to him/her better when you do eventually make it to a flight training device ......

All the best. Masalama

MDLR is recruiting crew and specifically looking for expat RJ captains.

What's the local opinion on whether or not the airline is going to keep going this time; are they even operating yet?

Any idea on T&Cs?

Take my honest advice , don't even bother trying , they won't start and even if they do , they won't survive. It's owned by a conman and run by a conman as well so what do you think ?Get real pal
