How does one goes about getting a signal reception test for the purpose of converting an overseas licence to Indian CPL? Is this test required for CASA CPL holders wanting to convert?

Hi avicon,

Just approach any local flying club or CFI for this document.

About a year back, the going rate was Rupees 2K to 4K. Now they may charge more due to the market conditions.

P.S Some CFI's give discounts for bulk orders !!!

well as far as i know, find a signal reception format document on google , change the required fields like your name/license number etc on it and get it stamped and signed by your CFI of your flight school may it be in US /AUS /CANADA.

In india the CFi's charge a sum of money. Last i knew a friend of mine paid 15k for the test certificate at a Flying club in Ahmedabad. He was actually asked to give the Morse Code test.

So i think its better if you can just get the thing signed by your flight school where you completed your certificates from.
