Indian AF Mig-21

Dear Indian Pilots,
author based in UK is writing book on Mig-21 in Indian Air Force service. Have previously authored same on SU30MKI. Looking for some missing pieces. Especially photos of a/c in service with 17, 20 (1996-97), 29 type 77, 35, 51, 101, AD Flt. Also looking for more on 4, 7, 23, 26, 47, ocu and TACDE. Looking for images of special colours of the 80s/90s, pics of badges on a/c, patches, annecdotes, Kargil sorties. Interested in contacting Ranbir Singh formerly of 21. Please PM me.

Dear Friends

thanks to those that responded to my plea. I am sure there are more of you out there with some nice shots. Maybe you have some shots of yourself posing in front of the aircraft or perhaps you were a movie star in Vijeta whilst serving with 4 squadron at Pune. I have already interviewed Mally Wollen, Philip Rajkumar, Teshter Master and others. But still need to fill some gaps.

All pics and information on the IAF Mig21 gratefully received.

Come on lads, please help an old 'gora' get the full story.

I know a person who served Indian AirForce for 14 years and i saw some of his pictures with mig-21s.. i will talk to him and pm you if i find any pictures..
