Australian Commercial Pilot License

Hey all,

Does anyone know how to go about converting an Indian CPL to a CASA CPL? From what I've read there is a provision for foreign CPL holders to convert their licenses just by giving an Air Regs exam and a flight check. However to do that one requires to go through some aviation security checks. How easy or difficult is this process?

Thanks.

Here's the information you require from the CASA website.

Basic Guidelines for Overseas Applicants Applying for an Australian Commercial Pilot Licence [CPL(A)].

You have three (3) options:

1 - go to the Dunnunda and Godzone section of pprune and ask or a much better option is

2 - go to Civil Aviation Safety Authority - Home and read on the foreign license conversion details.

3 - or call th CASA office in Canberra in Australia. +612 6217 1449
