You probably will get much more info from Fragrant Harbour. The little info I have, outdated though, was that they do mostly day flying, commuter roster was possible with some special arrangement. Pay wise, consider on the rather low side residing in HK but no actual figure being told yet.

1. All Night Flying

2. 8 days on 6 days off (commute free anywhere on network or buy your own tickets for elsewhere)

3. Bases SIN, HKG and PEN

4. Take home pay DEC expect around US$10500 (45 hours or less) - US$12000 (On a good month)

Above is approx after tax (SIN Base).

If you're based in SIN, do you commute to HKG for work or operate out of SIN - how many nights a month away from base? Also any info on the application and interview process would be helpful.
Thank you.

You start your 8 days on from singapore then you will get back to singapore 8 days later for your days off usually.

Application you send via website - interview process not sure about as its changed. But standard expect 2/3 days including interview, sim, medical, probably another interview with DFO.

Thanks Dekka for your infos.
Sounds like a great lifestyle 8 days on - 6 days off...specially if starting from your operational base and ending there.

Dear DEKKA,

By looking at the routes for summer 09 on their web site, i noticed that

the B744 BCF fly in and out SIN. I supposed that the crew are from Cathay

or Dragonair.

> On which type of aircraft crew based in SIN are?

> Is AHK recruiting DEC on B744F for base in SIN?

Thanks in advance for your answers or anyones else.

The 744F is leased from KA, I dont think AHK will operate it directly.

The 747BCF is CX wet lease for HKGSINHKG. Apparently until they get hold of larger aircraft: MD11,747BCF,777F - who knows - Rumours.

All AHK pilots are on A300 at either SIN,HKG,PEN.
