Sorry to flog a dead horse...

I don't understand all this whining that's going on...
Yes, DGCA is not in any which way close to being a perfect organisation... well... not even a competent or good one..
Is it corrupt? I am quite certain it is... Can you get things done if you pay the right price to the right person? Absolutely...
Come to think of it, it's the same darned thing in any Govt run org here in India...
But, does that mean that there is no other way to get things done? Of course there is...
But I am sure once I, or for that matter anyone, starts saying that you can get things done if done correctly, there would be hundreds saying the exact opposite...

I think I will just say what I have to say...
To the people who keep complaining that the exams are tough to pass - YES - for the reason that the papers ARE tough!
I have met some people outside the exam hall (when I took up the exam) - they were expecting some guy to spoon feed them with the exact kind of questions that might be asked... and were NOT ready to actually put their heads to see if they could figure the solutions out...and these kind were all around...
I am not surprised that loads of people fail...

Now, looking back, I am not even sure why I started this post off... but I am sure I am gonna be drawing a lotta flak my way...

All I can say is - I cleared the exam... got the license... and all with a very simple mantra - be thorough in what you do... get all the concepts straight... get all the paperwork (yes the whole truckload of it) and dump it with the DGCA - this I think is a pretty darn foolproof way to get things done.

Sorry to be flogging a dead... make that putrifying horse... but I just couldn't see the whining go on and on and on...

And people who don't agree with my point of view - please do.. just do it in your own time.

Oh... and sorry if I came across rude...
