Mahi,

Got all the ratings you mentioned, and a FAA ATPL. I am Mumbai based.

Hey any of you guys still in India?

Because I need to do my checks done.

I last flew in sept 2008, which is 24 months ago.

And i am planning to go to NZ, for that reason i want my license to be current.

Please let me know if any you guys can do it in India or NZ.

Yup! Currently in India. Find a N registered plane and we'll do it.

I dont know for sure.

I have a FAA license, which is not current, so i needed to do the checks to make it current.

Can that be done on Indian registered A/C?

When was the last time you flew?
You need an IPC, BFR, 3 t/o & ldgs previous 90 days on make and model (better to do this at night since it'll take care of the day currency).
Can do this on an airplane of any registration but the dual requirements need to be signed off by an FAA CFI/II/MEI.

I flew last in september 2008.

So, yeah i will require all the checks you mentioned.

Now that i can fly in any registered aircraft, how do you suggest i start?

I mean where are you based in India?

So if i understand correctly, as a flight instructor FAA CFI, CFII, and MEI, one can do recency flights in a N-Registered plane in India and does that apply to any aircraft below a certain category?
