Jet Airways contract changes
I just heard from a friend of mine with Jetairways based in mumbai. They've just hit them with changes to their contract. They're making them pay for their flights home from Jet hubs minus a $500 payment, cut vacation in half from 4 weeks to 2, plus a 5% paycut...it amounts to about a 15% paycut. Also no apartments or hotels provided...just an $1800 living allowance. A hotel will cost about $4000 to $6000.
I guess they don't understand the word contract....

Don't do it. my company tried this on me and i simply said - honour my existing contract or send me home.
I'm still here
- it took a lot of determination, but i am a professional and will be treated as one.
And after today's effort with an collegue's DGCA checkride - i'll bet they are glad they did.
