GPS Import
Can anyone tell me if there is a way to 'avoid' the 25 % GPS Duty tax in India if I buy one from the States?? or would it be better to have it sent to Aus then to India??

If it's shipped in it's probably going to be subject to the duty ... I'm not sure if there are any loopholes. If it comes from abroad, though, make sure the database covers or is easily changeable / updatable to the area of the world you want. Some companies charge outrageously for this. It'd be a shame to get around the import duty then spend even more on a update (plus shipping).
