Hello I am a Helicopter pilot from California with the following FAA ratings : Private, Commercial, Instrument, Flight Instructor, Instrument Flight Instructor, Ground Instructor
I will be moving to Japan here pretty soon and am curious if there is anyone on this board whom flys there? I am looking for a job but don't know where to look or what the requirments are for the country. If someone can please help or advise me I would greatly appreciate it.

You need South Asia and the Far East forum. Your fixed wings buddys, however experienced, have to get their JAA licence and do the type ratings all over again with the Japanese carriers, so you will have some homework to do.
