I've applied to Viva Macau awhile ago and Pilot Recruit Co-ordinator wrote back to me so I got his direct email...all he wants is 1000TT 500 Turbine multi crew operation so with your 1300 TT and ERJ time, you will definately get in. If you are interested, they fly 767 and you don't need type rating if you are willing to self sponser yourself. His name is Captain Andrew Klinghoffer and emails is [email protected]
Good luck!

info from an expat
all the info I've gathered so far from the Internet it seems like most airlines around Asia want about 1000 multi-crew jet for a FO position (HK, Macau...)
you guys may like this blog http://karlchang.spaces.live.com/ (Canadian Expat in China)
I emailed him about FO positions for expat low time pilots in the China state airlines. He was saying that they were not hiring FO non-typed expats to come in and fly...Capt. yes not FO's now. They really want the locals to come in...hense all the flight schools working to train nationals. A big issue for them not hiring expats is the chance they might come in and get their type and leave...the flight instruct to FO position is interesting though
Here is some more info on the conditions for the pilots...there...http://www.eturbonews.com/2321/skies...airline-pilots
I too would like to go fly in China or the ME to fly but for now I've just got a bunch of piston time
anyone have any info on what would be competitive for China Airline's FO position? I see they have a 1500TT ATP, jet time preferred
