Routes: VietJetAir will initially provide services on the main trunk route between Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City and selected international destinations. With a planned increase in aircraft fleet size VietJetAir will expand operations to provide services from cities in Korea, Japan, China and other ASEAN countries direct to Vietnam's tourist destinations such as Da Lat, Phu Quoc Island, Cam Ranh, etc.
Salary for B737NG captains: USD 8,500 net of Vietnamese taxes, a per diem and accommodation allowance of USD 2,200 per month, a monthly travel allowance of USD 500 per month
Duty: Commuting roster of 6 weeks available for duty at base followed by 2 weeks off duty. 190 block hours per quarter. Hours in excess of 190 per quarter will be paid at a rate of USD 112 for each excess hour.

That's more than Vietnam Airlines pays for the A320 and very good for Vietnam. I guess things are changing.
Although, depending on your commute, $500 might not get you very far.
(At VNA the contract includes free commuting anywhere in their system)
