Careers in Malaysia

Hello,

Is anybody has an idea about working in Malaysia : Malaysia Airlines, AirAsia, AirAsiaX or others ?
Conditions, roster, salary, min requirements etc ...
I am a JAA B737 captain with more than 11000 hours and looking preferably for a new type rating and long haul experience, and I suppose Malaysia is an interesting country to live and discover...

Thanks for all in advance

you'll have no prob as your 11000 hrs more than sufficient.

you have to take malaysian Air Law to convert your license.

I wonder if the salary be enough for a Europian, anyway MAS is buying 737-800, coming in 2010 so type rating will be given once u got in. Starting salary same as local with extra expat allowance USD1500 , that is take home approx USD 6000to 6500 (anyone pls verify?)

Abt AirAsia I heard basic abt USD 3000, but take home almost 8000USD?
(Flying Allowance rm195x 80 hrs= RM15600/4800usd tax free)

Wait for more response/this figure is close but not accurate.

To apply as a F.O.? Don't day-dream. Airasia WILL NOT take in any expat F.O.

F.O. positions reserved for Malaysians ONLY.
