Question Licence conversion and job situation in Asia

I'm sure there have been messages like this in the past, but please be nice to me, i'm only new here...
I've recently got Oz CPL/MECIR from CASA with approx 250TT and a university degree in aviation (whatever that means...), and am looking into an Asian (and the Pacific islands)opportunity. Does anyone out there know about the licence conversion requirements in the region, and possibly the job opportunities for a guy like myself, with a very minimum hours? Or any advise for me in terms of what to do etc, if anyone wants to give me a life lesson in aviation (please do not be too harsh on me!)?
