Certificate conversions

As a general rule is it easier to convert JAA or FAA certificates for flying in this part of the world? Any info from people who have actual experience is greatly appreciated.
Best regards

Have you been offered A job somewhere? from experience Usually once you have been offered a job then the Company will deal with Licence Conversion or a Licence Validation. This may be a case of Sitting 1 0r more Ground exams Plus flight training which probably may only mean your type conversion training. Or worse you may do more. From Experience alot of Asian countries appear to not merely convert your licence, This is to protect local work force. Regarding FAA and JAA thats personally impossible to answer.
