Arriving late in BKK - good hotel???

Headed to BKK soon and we arrive at 0200. Will have the lovely lady with me and her teenage son. We won't be in mood to travel far from airport. We will need a hotel for that night. We are thinking about spending a week or so in Bangkok before heading to our next stop so any suggestions for a good place to stay for the rest of the time appreciated.

Average Budget (around 1,500 TBT/ night). Comfortable
Nearby Suvarnabumi
King Park Avenue Hotel
Phone (Not checked): +66 27481036
In town;
Elizabeth Hotel
Pradiphat Road (Soy 15, Paholyothin)
(Not far from a BTS station), close to Chatuchak (Sunday Market)
A "Big C" with a food court in which we can find various style of food (Western, chinese....)

Hope it may be some help

The Elizabeth is within an area for ‘alternate’ lifestyles.

Boulevard Hotel, Sukumvit, tel: +66 2 255 2930
Crew discount available.
Tell 'em the COLONEL sent you...you may well get a suite at the regular room price.
Nice folks, friendly service, clean accomodations.
Good location for extended stay, as well.
