Flying for Kingfisher please help

Hi,

Does anyone know whether an expat FO with 6000 hours total time (2500 jet) and 1300 hours on A320 can get entry into Kingfisher as a direct entry line captain on A320's, is this possible, as someone mentioned that they do this. Or will I have to get PIC time on type first.

Also, should I just sit tight at my current airline and wait for a A340 conversion, or will it be worth joining Kingfisher for an upgrade to captain from FO.

Please help, Any advice will be appreciated.

You bet. The hosties are surely of Bollywood quality!
Pirate, you need PIC time on turbo props or jets.
Otherwise join as an F/O and wait for rapid command, something which looks inevitable with the rapid growth here in Mother Indeeya! Good luck.

thanks for the info.

I was told that by their recruitment guy as well. Do you think the flying in India is better than in South Africa then?
