Training @ Emirates, Dubai

I planned to obtain my PPL & IR in Dubai coz I'm going to stay with my family and do my fATPL in Malaysia. Any problem converting GCAA (Gulf License) to Malaysian License. Advice me please.

I have a suggestion to re-post this @ the Middle East forum because Dubai and Emirates are not in South Asia/ Far East.
