SIA Technical Service Engineer

Hey everyone!
I know this is not a piloting-related question, so my apologies. SIA has an opening for a Technical Service Engineer. They are very vague on the details and experience; as such, it would be appreciated if anyone with knowledge could fill me (us on the forum) with details about any necessary experience or licence requirements.
In addition what are the specific duties that will be expected of me? Will there be any training provided?
Finally, any information on remuneration will be welcome.
I am about to finish university in the UK (Electronic Engineering) and I find this a very good opportunity to put knowledge into practice and further my understand of what I studied.
One last question. Is SIA accepting any applications for its cadet program from foreigners? Any person I can talk to at SIA to discuss the matter (pm me e-mails if possible and allowed)?
Thanks a bunch,
Guybrush

This question really belongs on the Engineers & Technicians Forum.

Airlines do not usually employ expatriates unless they have first acquired considerable experience in their field. Training and Development is reserved to their own nationals.

Check your PMs for details of Technical Services work guybrush.
