Hi anyone who knows whether does SQ offer any aus basing?does SQ or SQ cargo has any base outside singapore?thank you

yes in BNE and PER - but not for new hires I understand. You will be based here in wonderful Sing.

overseas basing is only on the mainline, not on cargo at the moment.

Is AUS the only overseas base SQ has?How long do you have to serve SQ in sing before you can request for AUS basing?thank you

i think kk may be right, they are not recruiting any overseas based crew at the moment.

SQ have never favoured overseas basing. It was thrust upon them when an ex BA Captain bye-passed Ops and went to the board and convinced them that O'seas basing was the way to go. The board handed down a dictat that crews should be o'seas based. Immediately you had a disruptive influence as now a whole chunk of the roster, including many LHR trips, were out side the reach of the mere mortal based in Singapore, be he Chinese, Malay or Expat.
I doubt very much that SIA will ever offer a basing outside Singapore in the future.
