Air India / Alliance Air Relationship

I understand that Alliance is a subsidiary of AI. Are there any labor relations troubles between the two carriers? I remember reading somewhere on here about the AI union warning about going there.

Can anybody fill me in? I have been offered a CRJ job with Alliance out of Delhi. This isn't scab work, or anything I'd regret right? Thanks.
