Air Deccan A 320

I want to know for a local fo position ,
- how much they charge for the tr for the a 320 ,
- do they take entire amount on post dated cheques or ask for some amount upfront
- how long is the agreement period
- if you leave them before serving the entire term , do they deduct the whole amount as Spice does or They just encash the remaining cheques
- is the ground training done at madras ?
- what is the stipend during training
- any news on thier sim that they were saying they are gonna have soon
- do they send the guy quicly enough for his tr or keep him hanging for a while
- where could one be based ?

I recently heard a 2nd hand story where the fo was flying an air deccan a 320 for 2 yrs and he applied to indigo and was taken by them and also paid around 18 lakhs as start up bonus for the amount he had spend on his tr . could this story be holding any truth ?

thanks for answering any of the questions you can , any pms also appreciated .

Air Deccan

If I am not wrong you are suggesting that Air Deccan have opportunities for people who can self sponser their Type Rating.

no , i am talking about local fo's who get hired by them and are sent for tr through them but have to pay it back by some means as deduction from salary or working for an x amount of yrs and have to keep post dated cheques with them as security .

what you are probably talking about is for foreign nationals .in that case you need to be type rated and have min 500 hrs on type to be eligible , if at all something can be worked out .

Following are from the best of my Knowledge ....
- how much they charge for the tr for the a 320 ,
Approx Rs 23 Lakhs
- do they take entire amount on post dated cheques or ask for some amount
upfront
I believe you have to pay upfront and if need be they'll arrange for loans
- how long is the agreement period
There is no agreement period as such but if you serve them for 3 yrs they'll pay back 60% of the TR amount and if you further stay for 2 more years they'll pay back the rest of the amount. Which means in 5 yrs they'll return ur TR money.
- if you leave them before serving the entire term , do they deduct the whole amount as Spice does or They just encash the remaining cheques
As discussed above.
- is the ground training done at madras ?
No initial training is done at Bangalore
- what is the stipend during training
From the last information i had its 10000 per month
- any news on thier sim that they were saying they are gonna have soon
Nope
- do they send the guy quicly enough for his tr or keep him hanging for a while
Depends on the slot available at the training centres
- where could one be based ?
Delhi Mumbai Bangalore Chennai Kolkata Trivandrum Ahmedabad or Hyderabad
my 0.02!
