CC seated by overwing-exit on A320

On a previous flight with UL A320 to BOM from CMB I noticed there was one CCM seated on a overwing-exit seat during only take off and not landing. In total, there were four CCM's on board. Two of these were seated in 1L and 1R and the third member in 4L.

On the return flight, no CCM was seated by the wings, yet also four CC.

Could anyone explain this scenario as I'm a little bit confused?

I'm rated on the A320, so I'd like to help answer your question, but I have to ask, what is a CCM that you are referring to? Also, what is a CC in your post? I'm not 100% up on the two-letter identifiers of Indian airlines, so if you could also post who UL is, that might help too.

just a guess, but could CC = cabin crew? And CCM = cabin crew manager?

I've never heard of those abbreviations either

Woodwrecker,

Mingalabaya is partly right. Thank you for your reply

CC: Cabin Crew, CCM: Cabin Crew Member, UL: SriLankan Airlines

Lack of Able Bodied Passengers/Persons on the exit rows could be the reason why one F/A was on the overwing exit row...

Now, now, that's not a nice thing to say about QRCC2B, is it?

I was with UL for years and they always seemed to have at least two reasonably healthy passengers on board. Once the unlimited free booze started flowing the number who could actually open an overwing door did decrease significantly.
