SIA has run out of aircraft

Hi there,

SIA seems to have run out of B747s due to Airbus and contractual obligations to the likes of Dragonair and anyone else. Can anyone confirm?

SQ231 (0030 departure), seems to have to wait for SQ011 (0110 arrival) to be turned around before it can depart.
SQ866 (1330 departure) has to wait for something coming from somewhere (I think SQ001 (1140 arrival)) before that can depart too.

Also, apparently they have to delay some scheduled B777 maintenance because the fleet is being so highly utilised.

It does seem like it's all Airbus' fault too

Have they got some grounded 777's due problems with RR fan blades?
